Blue System is the studio project that Dieter Bohlen founded after the dissolution of the iconic synth-pop/Eurodisco duo Modern Talking. The prolific Bohlen was responsible for composition, songwriting, production, mixing, arrangement, and naturally, vocals himself, while he hired session musicians for additional vocals and instruments.

The project managed to release 13 albums over a period of approximately 10 years, before Bohlen shelved it in favor of his many other projects.

"Hello America" is Blue System's seventh album and was originally released in 1992. It contains 11 new tracks, all written by Bohlen, of which "I Will Survive" and "Romeo & Juliet" were released as singles.

Now "Hello America" is reissued on vinyl for the first time in more than three decades. The release comes in a limited edition of 2,000 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
