Claudio Abbado & London Symphony Orchestra

Pergolesi: Stabat Mater Claudio Abbado & London Symphony Orchestra

While the Italian conductor Claudio Abbado – incidentally permanent guest conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra – recorded Pergolesi with the London Symphony Orchestra, he conducted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Mozart's performance. Both concerts were lovingly processed at Esoteric Mastering Center and subjected to the famous proprietary DSD remastering process developed by the Japanese company. The result is a spectacularly realistic sound that catapults the listener into the heart of the concert and gives these two popular works a new dimension in terms of accessibility.

Esoteric's reissue of classical music masterpieces has attracted a great deal of attention worldwide. The uncompromising commitment to restoring and remastering the original tapes, as well as the use of Hybrid Super Audio CD technology to enhance sound quality, makes all Esoteric releases a must-have for all lovers of classical music!
