New Orleans raised R&B singer Barbara George was discovered by New Orleans singing star Jessie Hill who recommended her to legendary producer Harold Batiste. Her first single, "I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)," which she wrote, became a huge hit and rose to the # 1 spot of the R&B charts in 1961, reaching # 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has since become one of the biggest radio hits of all time and has been covered by many artists since, including Tina Turner and Bonnie Raitt. Newly re-mastered.
