Delivering blazing hard rock with a groove that's been absent from the genre for decades, Numa's fresh but familiar sound has already positioned the band as a major player in the DC area rock scene. Chad Burrows' intense wail, which has drawn comparisons to both Geddy Lee and Brandon Boyd, compliment the melodic heaviness of Nick Samuels' guitar playing. Earth shattering riffs return to the spotlight in the bands' sound, which is rounded out by the tightest of rhythm section. The notoriously heavy-hitting Kenny "Kaos" Piper, with his background in hip-hop, paired with the unique punk/funk of Bryan Lindamood join together to form an untouchable pocket. This hardworking band has ignited many stages, including Blocktoberfest at RFK Stadium, the 9:30 Club, Rams Head Live, The State Theatre, Sonar, The Lion's Den, and other great venues, gaining quite a following in the process. As their buzz continues to grow, the guys have many exciting events on the horizon including the Mid-Atlantic Music Conference in Charlotte, major label showcases, and spreading the news of their recent release of the NUMA EP produced by Scott Spelbring (Jason Mraz, SR-71).
