Dr. Jane Hoffman was a faculty member at Humboldt University in California for eight years, teaching flute, coaching chamber music and other courses. She has a Master's Degree from Cal State, Northridge and a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from SUNY Stony Brook, NY. She has traveled abroad to study in Nice, France, and performed in Mallorca, Spain. Dr.Hoffman has performed in the Miller Theater at Columbia University in Manhattan with the Contemporary Chamber Players, and was a fellow in the Sarasota Music Festival. She is a frequent performer all around Sarasota area. Has played with the Sarasota Opera for 4 seasons For the past seven years she has been the Director of the Hecht School of Music at the Flanzer Jewish Community Center, Sarasota, Florida.
