I wrote the 'Somnolence' short album the first year after I graduated from the Ohio State University. In 2004 I experienced some odd, supernatural occurences during sleep, including sleep paralysis and astral projection. The songs on this EP are special to me because they describe these odd occurences. All 5 songs on this EP relate to these experiences. This album is an allegory with a simple love story being the framework and the story of my sleep disturbances being the deeper, hidden meaning.
