The Black Phone 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed 2022 horror film and is once again directed by Scott Derrickson.

The film expands the dark universe created from Joe Hill’s story and takes place several years after the events of the first film, where the traumas of the past refuse to let go. The story follows an older Finney, still haunted by memories of The Grabber — an evil that proves not to be entirely gone. When new mysterious events begin to affect the local community and the supernatural black phone rings once more, Finney and his sister Gwen are forced to confront a terror that reaches far beyond what they believed was over.

The lead role is once again played by Mason Thames, with Madeleine McGraw returning as Gwen, and Ethan Hawke reprising a central and chilling role that has made the character of The Grabber a modern horror icon.
