Molly Hatchet | Lost Horizon

Southern rock legends MOLLY HATCHET return on November 27th with "Lost Horizon", their first studio album in a full 16 years. The album will be released worldwide through Steamhammer.

For the band's guitarist and songwriter Bobby Ingram, "Lost Horizon" is the culmination of a lifelong dream: All 12 tracks on the album were recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. Specifically in Studio 2, where The Beatles recorded their music about 60 years ago.

The band used both the same studio and the same microphones that Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr worked with. Behind the mixing desk was sound engineer Chris Bolster, who has previously collaborated with artists including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Kate Bush, Oasis, and Foo Fighters. For Bobby Ingram, it was a deeply moving experience to record a new MOLLY HATCHET album under such historic conditions.

"Lost Horizon" exudes music history and marks the band's long-awaited return after 2010's "Justice". Alongside Ingram and long-time band members John Galvin (keyboards) and Tim Lindsey (bass), you will find two younger talents, Garrett Ramsden (drums) and Parker Lee (vocals), who carry on MOLLY HATCHET's proud musical traditions.
