On November 6, 2026, Asthmatic Kitty Records will release the album "Worst Christmas Ever!", which gathers the essence of Sufjan Stevens’ extensive Christmas catalog from the box sets "Songs for Christmas" and "Silver & Gold" into one definitive collection.
The album contains 15 favorites selected from more than 100 Christmas recordings, as well as the brand new original song "On This Christmas (It Only Gets Better)", which is Sufjan's first new Christmas song in almost 15 years.
