Bryan Adams | How's It Goin'

Inspired by the landscapes, personalities, stories, and current events, all part of Canada's ongoing history, Adams also explores a new musical landscape on How’s It Goin’. Alongside the unmistakable songwriting and voice that have always been at the core of his music, the album introduces elements of country and folk, giving the release a warm and roots-inspired character.

Among the songs are “Diesel And Dirt”, “How’s It Goin’”, “Iron Ribbon” and “The Battle Of Lundy’s Lane”.

“The idea was simply to make an album about Canada,” says Adams. “It started when I wrote the song for the documentary Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge, and after all that research, I was inspired to write more songs about Canada. Musically, it also led me in a slightly different direction, which made the whole process exciting.”

One of the album's most touching moments is “The Ballad Of Terry Fox”, Adams’ tribute to one of Canada's most inspiring figures. The song will also be featured in the upcoming new documentary about Terry Fox titled Run Terry Run.

How’s It Goin’ traces back to Adams' roots and offers an album that is alternately personal, cinematic, and contemplative, yet unmistakably Adams all the way through.

The album contains 12 songs and will be released on CD and LP. The LP comes in a gatefold cover with printed inner sleeves and an OBI strip.

The album will also be released as a deluxe CD including a beautiful A4 hardback book, which contains lyrics and photos related to the album's tracks. The book comes with the album on CD placed in the back of the book.
