Fellowship of the Cross is an exploratory revelation of the significance of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ made on behalf of our sins on the Cross. The redemption of mankind had to be made (which involved self-sacrifice) of God giving up His only Son to be a sin offering for us, thus fulfilling a divine promise. Prior to the life and time of Christ, mankind was steeped in slavery, social subjugation, bigotry, and social mistrust, alienation from one another and sin. In today's global climate, culture has divided us. Race has divided us. Politics and economics have divided us, and personal traditional religious values and beliefs have divided us. Yet the Cross of Jesus possesses the power to unite all of mankind into one mind, faith, obedience, and service to God, as long as we completely abandon man-made traditions and indoctrinated values. It is because of the preaching of the Gospel (The Good News of Jesus) that we now have Hope.
