Mystical God provides a meaty overview of scriptural standing on prayer, spiritual gifts, and roles in leadership in the body of Christ, all through the lens of the person, nature, and the role of Jesus. It explores the foundations of what it means to pray without ceasing, growing in our identity in Christ, and returning our focus to the simplicity of living the Gospel using Christology as our hermeneutic.

The terms "Mystical" and "Mystic" are not widely accepted in mainstream Christianity due to their association with many of the Gnostic heresies and New Age movements that are antichrist in nature. Mystical God seeks to return these terms to their rightful place, pointed directly at Jesus, and even explores how to discern fact from fiction according to scripture.

The heart behind Mystical God seeks to help us as believers become more united and become better listeners of God and one another - as Christians are to love one another just as Jesus loves us (1 John 4:17). The aim is not to prove one theology over another but to give glory to Christ and proclaim he is right. It delves widely into scripture to strengthen, encourage, and comfort those who desire to sink their roots deeper into Jesus. It is a great resource to begin digging into scripture for ourselves and grow in our identity in Jesus. Mystical God challenges perceptions from Charismatic and Non-Charismatic camps by consistently pointing to Christ as the answer - and not relying on our humanistic interpretations. We are to make much of Jesus and not ourselves.
