Pillars of Nell are shaking... Castivas overflows with archer assassins, shapeshifting beasts and unseen perils. Faye and Mila came to rely on each other facing these dangers only last week-now they have to learn when stand on their own and when to trust budding friendships. As Faye carries out rituals of saying goodbye to masters and kin, Mila struggles to cope with the prospect of making a life in this land. Mila's selfish decisions put the entire group at risk as they discover someone has been killing powerful numenara embodiments--Aborente.
