Deconstructed by Crazy Winds is the true story of two women who go out sailing to the Caribbean in 2019-2020 to try and live the dream in paradise. They sail the 40 foot race boat named WildChild out into the ocean in conditions that other sailors fear and these girls struggle against the ocean to find happiness. Instead the adventure descends into madness. Nothing ever goes according to plan and the illusion of reality never turns out the way you expect it to be. Rather than these girls conquering the world the world conquers them. Captain Lexi struggles to maintain her identity and truths in the deconstructing forces of pluralistic relativism she finds in the world. Slowly everything she ever believed to be true gets deconstructed and taken away until eventually, there is only madness and insanity left. How can a person function in pluralistic relativism, how does one survive the crazy making of their partner, how do we prove our truths? The journey is both fascinating and horrifying and deeply tragic all at the same time. The book is brilliantly written, a page turner, and horrible too. This book is a difficult read and might prove dangerous to you. The descent into madness is not pretty to follow.
