Scotland Yard Detective John Stone is sent to Whitechapel to investigate two brutal murders. Stone soon discovers the complexities of solving two cold cases with no clues, no witnesses, and seemingly no motive. When another prostitute is found murdered, Stone looks for answers in the letters the killer sends to the newspapers.
