Working From Home isn't a new concept, stay-at-home moms and dads have been doing it for millennia. It is an art form, however, and one that some people are still learning at a finger-painting pace. You want to be the Michelangelo of working from home, not a macaroni stuck to construction paper kind of artist. Many businesses don't train their employees how to work from home. This may be the reason so many employers have been reluctant to allow working from home. I also want to clarify that when I say working from home, I also include the ability to work remotely or work from anywhere into that mix. With the numerous technological advances coming out, it is possible to have a work from anywhere status as opposed to just working from home. I have been known to work from foreign countries and beaches when I was working fully remote and ultimately it doesn't matter if you are at home or in the forest as long as you have wifi and are getting your work done on time.
