An accident has left Dalin J. Quade with amnesia. He uses his intution and his photographic memory to survive in the New World Order that he finds himself in. The world in 2418 is orderly and sophisticated, and they have tags to help locate and control their citizens, but things aren't as idealistic as one would imagine it to be with the citizens being monitored as they were. Dalin was adopted into the Robertson Family by the Creator's daughter no less, but this didn't stop the the attacks made on his life by some men in black jumpsuits and masks. His adoptive parents are now insisting that he choose a wife, but he doesn't want to get tied to a female until he can figure out where he truly belongs because he knows this doesn't feel right. Besides, the female he finds himself hopelessly attracted to is all ready engage to his adoptive cousin, Cal Robertson Jr. Not only are these men in masks after him, but he nearly gets killed at Christmas time by some escaped Hybrids and ends up in the hospital again. Things are not as the Creator would like to beleive, as Dalin wonderful as the Creator thinks it ishis adoptive grandfathehr things the government would have the citizens believe, and people are not as trustworthy as they should be, even those who are close to him. The question is, who can Quade trust?
