Samuel Taylor is a fairly normal fourteen year old boy: living with his parents and his eight year old brother; he hangs around with his friends when he can; he occasionally has difficulties at school. In his spare time though, he's learning to use magic with some of his friends, and exploring the various things around Longhampton that other people just don't seem to notice.
