At age 23 - and all by herself in the days of the old steam ships -- Maggie sails across the mighty Atlantic Ocean to America. All the while, she is homesick for the lovely green hills of her native County Down, in Northern Ireland. Then, in her wanderings, she moves to England, where she meets a tall, handsome policeman (or bobby) -- and what happens next?Through the true adventures of this daring Irish lass, we learn much about life.
