Pair this volume with others in the Wedding Collection (Volume I and the Handel "Water Music" collection) for a total of 3 dozen works and well over an hour of music appropriate both before and after the wedding ceremony. Each duet includes interchangeable parts for each of the following instrument groupings: C Instruments in Treble Clef (flute, oboe, violin, viola, keyboard, etc.); Bb Instruments in Treble Clef (Bb clarinet and trumpet, tenor sax); Eb Instruments in Treble Clef (alto sax, baritone sax, alto clarinet, etc.); F Instruments in Treble Clef (F horn); C Instruments in Bass Clef (trombone, baritone, tuba, bassoon, cello, etc.); Low C Instruments in Bass Clef (tuba, string bass, etc.) The duet parts are transposed in concert key. You will find six pairings of like-instrument transposition that form individual scores. But better, this volume can be used to create combinations in which, for example, one C Flute could be paired with one Bb Clarinet or any other preferred instrument to form a duet. Any numbers of players could be assigned to the duet parts to create flexibly-paired small ensembles. These duets work well in any environment, especially outdoor settings where keyboards might be impractical. Place this volume in your files.
