On a world where the sun remains fixed in one place, an undiscovered city awaits at the sunward pole. An expedition to uncover the secrets of this city has been organized to fly sunward on the airship Destiny, under the command of Captain Nome. Nobody knows what to expect when the Destiny eventually flies past all previously explored terrain into the unknown. Haye Zintan had hoped to make a quick buck and escape from the bounty hunters after her by joining the expedition. The sunward lands will test her courage and wit, but will they also change her in ways she cannot foreknow?
