Yacht Pirate David R Barton
Yacht Pirate
David R Barton
Aging Tony McGee, having escaped his police records and no longer associated with the criminals of his past, pirates a mega yacht out of Nassau harbor with a plan to retire from crime with the 3 million ransom he plans to collect for its safe return. On his singlehanded lonely trip to the Orinoco River delta in Venezuela his aging mind has him reliving moments with the 3 important women of his past. Two of them, one accidently encountered at a convenient time in his efforts, the other who now was just a friend, were used to help him in his crime. There is much he is not aware of: The crooked insurance broker had been pocketing the insurance payments; the yacht's owner turned out to be The Boss, the number 1 crook in South Florida; and a very professional mercenary is hired to thwart Tony's efforts. Nothing goes as planned, Tony escapes the scene of the payoff and soon learns he is in extreme deadly danger. In his effort to hide in the fishing town of Cumana Venezuela he finds trouble and a surprise.
