Who couldn't, if the price was one million pounds. Anyone who could do a little murder on the side for such an amount. And that's Balmain's idea of the whole thing. He made the difference in a big way, but such differences never last. Soon he became the hottest bird in the whole world. France, America and Switzerland wanted him for a barbecue if they could set hands on him.
