Big Red Rita A Niro

This is a story of love and devotion. Rita Niro found a scared, abandoned, and abused pit bull mix taking him into her home and her heart. Rita used pictures of Red to teach her Kindergarten class respect for each other and manners. This book contains many of those pictures. Working with Red, she found him to be a kind and gentle dog, and eventually, he trained to be a therapy dog. Especially working with abused children as they faced their abusers in court. Rita and Red have passed away, but he will always be remembered by those he helped comfort.
