Currently, most of the software is designed tosupport younger users. To support elderly users, we have to considermore on age-related differences. This thesis presents a literature survey,and related theories used in designing graphic user interface for agingpeople. Besides, criteria for designing software for older users are alsodiscussed and suggested as guidelines for future studies and development. The purpose is to improve older users? potential in using informationtechnologies, and to potentially allow older users to gain more benefitfrom using of computer software.
