My project work includes a comparative study of the three popular methods for design viz Equivalent static method, Response spectrum method and Time history analysis; identifying the advantages and disadvantages of each method. In the meanwhile it has a look at the methods of combination(SRSS, CQC, ABS, CSM and TEN) of the responses from each mode into a total response. The results have been represented in graphical and tabular form so that it becomes easy to compare various results.
