In recent years, urban development has generated many problems with respect to poor city planning, inefficient administration, disordered land-use, heavy traffic congestion, lacking solid waste management, remarkable polluted waste water and fast population growth rate. Illustrations in this book are more highlighted on the urban development of big cities in Asian developing countries concerning with social economic condition and historical background, as well as migrations on reasons of economics, religion, ethnics, social status and spatial political impacts. With regard to friendly environmental sustainability creating ideal urban living, a short review on urban modeling is introduced in this book with respect to some applications on geographical information system, numerical analysis with Runge-Kutta algorithm, linear regression analysis, etc. Nevertheless, this book reveals prospects and constraints in urban dynamics, which may broaden reader knowledge.
