This book portrays the basic understandings of the bioinorganic chemistry of metal based photochemotherapeutic agents. It focuses on different aspects of the chemistry and photo-biology of various metal complexes, their interaction with double helical DNA, DNA photocleavage and photo-enhanced cytotoxicity in various human cancer cells in presence of light of suitable wavelength.
