The importance of the information has rapidly increased in the past ten years. At the same time, personal handheld telecommunication devices are significantly raised around the world. Based on the fast growing market, it is not only expanded dramatically in the demand of antenna for handheld telecommunication product. Antenna is a transducer designed to transmit or receive electromagnetic waves. Microstrip patch antennas (MSA) have several advantages over conventional microwave antenna and therefore are widely used in many practical applications. The main aim of this is to optimize MSA to achieve the dual or triple channels so that a single microstrip antenna will give superior performance in terms of bandwidth and power. This research shows that change in MSA configuration and use of Meta material structure in MSA increases the total channels significantly with less power requirement. Meta material properties will be derived from its structure rather than its components. They exhibit properties generally not found in nature.
