The study set out to investigate the effects of HIV & AIDS on women?s accessibility and utilization of land: a case study of Luwero District. Since its emergence, HIV & AIDS has unleashed serious effects on the society more especially women in various ways; various biological and social factors put widows and younger women at greater risk and vulnerability. The complex occurrences resulting from HIV & AIDS have had devastating effects on society, women especially that have caught them unprepared to handle the effects and the associated burden resulting from the scourge. "Thus Women; Human Causalities of African society". The focus of study was to understand the effects of HIV & AIDS on women?s accessibility and utilization of land among women of otherwise similar social demographic cultural background known to have high levels of awareness of their rights especially the right to own property. Vulnerability of widows of HIV & AIDS after the demise of their husbands has been found to be more than anything else determined by societal forces such as gender imbalances and the inability of women to take decisions and levels of education. Women are more vulnerable due to their socialization
