This book discusses object complements in English. The verbs precede the object complements relating to the semantic of the verbs are classified into two major classifications: dynamic and stative verbs. The dynamic verbs followed by object complements are activity, momentary, and transitional verbs while the stative verbs are represented by the verbs of inert perception and cognition.
