The difference between radical obedience and rugged obedience is that there is nothing radical about obedience to God. Obedience is very normal for those who love God. Rugged Obedience on the other hand involves denial of self, and even suffering . It is a rugged path. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice." He didn't say " My lambs hear my voice." He is speaking to all of mankind but many have turned their backs to him and don't hear him. God doesn't want people who are good at following rules; he wants people who have turned their faces to him, not their backs. He will speak and he wants us to obey him. As you read this book pray and listen to God and obey him. God speaks through the Bible, through impressions in our hearts, though checks in our spirit, through others, and sometimes in a still small voice. This book will help you recognize his voice if you are willing to listen to him. Dr Frederick Grossman is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College, and International seminary. He has also attended Bemidji State University for 2 1/2 years. He has been ordained as a Southern Baptist, as well as a Rabbi.
