The Tennessee 13th Infantry Regiment was organized June 4, 1861. It entered Confederate service August 14, 1861 and was reorganized April 28, 1862. If March 1863 it was consolidated with the 154th Senior Tennessee Infantry Regiment and formed Companies "H" and "G" of the 2nd Consolidated Tennessee Infantry Regiment April 9, 1865.
