This is part three of a trilogy. In the first book a young black Mississippi girl struggles to build a lasting relationship with her high school sweetheart and one true love. In the second book the woman and her husband manage to save their marriage when she tames her jealousy and he stops skirt chasing Now, along with a life long friend, they return home to Muddy Water, Mississippi for their 40th high school class reunion. They are haunted by ghosts from the past that overshadow both marital infidelity and jealousy when they rekindle memories of other classmates.
