A fifty three year old female software engineer, who had no prior psychiatric history, was forced into the mental hospital. To the outside world, she disappeared without a trace. Ten days later, her supervisor filed a missing person's report triggering a state wide hospital search. This book is a first person account of her mental state leading up to the hospitalization. It weaves together her childhood during the Cultural Revolution in China, a romantic encounter with a tango teacher in Argentina, her disenchantment with corporate America and her search for answers in God, spirituality and quantum physics.
