Xavier Reeves is in need of a second chance. After being bullied at his own school, he and his parents moved from Forth Worth Texas to a coastal town in California known as Crystal Pointe. There, he immediately becomes the hot topic at James Madison High School and is befriended by not only the Pep Comittee and football team members but also a group of rich kids known as the Bellevue Kids. What he doesn't know, however, is that those said kids have a secret: they're really a group of superheroes known as the Sentinels. As for his older sister and main bully Coretta, she wants to make things right as she is dying and one she learns of the Sentinels' plan to make Xavier one of them, she heads to California to get her brother away.
