Author Joshua Gibson originally wrote this fantasy story at age 12, before the world required he portray a more "mature" front. Now in his 40's, he decided it was high time to let the silly back out. Until now, Jebediah Rufus has mainly been an oral storytelling performance, from campfire hangs with friends to a full summer of recitation at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. Now finally developed into a graphic storybook, you and your kids can read it any time and share in the fun!

Jebediah Rufus: An Appalachian Tall Tale is written and illustrated as a new folk tale, a modern day take on southern and Appalachian folklore.
