Psychology is a discipline that through a scientific study aims to analyze human processes and the behavior of human beings and their interactions with the physical and social environment. All natural sciences follow a method which may be called the ''analytic method''. In order to become a science, psychology must adopt this method: for it is the method which makes the science. the science is essentially the method, It is clear that the psychologist must use an analytic method as much as possible, if he is to produce a science; and also that he must find for himself the right units into which he can analyse the material. Since the organism acts as a whole, it is impossible to understand an action of any kind without a plan of the whole organism. For this reason a psychologist requires to know such anatomy and physiology as will help him to realize how the different parts of a total reaction or response are united
