NORTHERN MOON REPEAL is the third novel in Phil's Trilogy of Moons. All three novels are historical fiction about the impact of Prohibition on local farmers, businessmen and law enforcement during the thirteen years Prohibition Law was keeping America free of alcohol. The three novels concentrate on the same characters wrestling their way through the financial crunch of WWI, the growth of crime during America's Prohibition period and outsmarting the Feds who try to keep them from reaching the Twin Cities with their bootleg deliveries of moonshine to the speakeasies. To avoid the cordon of Feds surrounding the cities, they begin deliveries to Superior Wisconsin and Chicago, which eventually causes them to even tangle with the Capone gang. Through these adventure stories readers will absorb authentic history as they turn pages. Prohibition's impact on the common folks is what it's all about. Good people trying to survive tough times turn into criminals due to inappropriate laws that never accomplished their intent. Learn how the Cartier family, parents and kids who were going broke to the point of foreclosure on their farm, learned how to make moonshine, package it, hide it, bootleg it and avoid the Feds and jail, eventuall making more money than they'd ever dreamed of.
