SUPREME SACRIFICE

Mr. James Toluwani, a bold born-again Youth Corp member was posted to Jombo town, a remote town in the Western part of the country, for his service year.

While there as a Teacher in the only Grammar school, he observed that the town was full of idolatry as evidenced in their beliefs. Also noticeable were altars and shrines conspicuously erected in the town; Ritual killings used as sacrifices to gods and deities and worse still, their harsh and severe unwritten laws which had turned the land into a human abattoir flowing with the blood of innocent souls.

Initially, Mr. Toluwani felt unconcerned and did not involve himself or interfere in the town's customs and religious beliefs since he was temporarily there on service. Mr. Toluwani became a fulfilled and faithful servant of God and a hero in the land of Jombo.

He left indelible footprints on the sands of time. His name became a reference point in the land.
