The mettle of the Elfin prince, Alathasas Summerfeather is tested as he seeks to bring honor back to his family. A mage-for-hire, Æjanarra teaches him that no matter what role one has in life, one should always live it completely. A Wylde-toothed Elfin savage, Coon teaches the noble self-sacrifice. Finally, when Prince Alathasas doubts the completion of his quest, an exotic psychic, Ja'Kalista helps him to remember the goals -to restore honor to his family's good name and that he has become rich with true friends.
