Jan was merely trying to get through life; his marriage failing, his job boring, underwater and his bank account virtually empty. He never suspected that simply stopping by his bank would completely ruin his life. They came in blazing away and he did the only thing an armed citizen could do, defend the innocent. Unfortunately, a zealous prosecutor, trying to make a name for himself, decided to make Jan's life miserable. What was worse, the bad guys he killed worked for an unforgiving boss who held a grudge and made every effort to kill Jan for his impertinence. Unwilling to become a victim, Jan fought on two fronts, against the bad publicity from the outrageous prosecutor and from bullets flying as Salazar sent squad after squad to seek revenge. With the help of some off duty, small town cops Jan went on the offensive to resolve both problems while trying to stay alive.
