"Anyone who can break the bonds of automatic living, in the confusion of cities and civilization, can find the reality of his eternal self."A young boy Jack one day realizing that he is alive is analyzing the environment he is in. Right from the start he feels a stranger in the world and is discovering how weird and nonsensical society he was born in really is. He senses that something is fundamentally wrong but still decides to initially go through the motions as he is forced to go along the same path as everyone else at a young age. It starts with the kindergarten and school years where even though he enjoys the time spent with his peers he is discovering how most things in life are just not making any sense to him. After graduating and beginning his supposedly successful work career he is starting to feel even more anxious about what society is teaching people to follow in life and after several attempts to fit in decides to rebel and follow his own path. In the meantime, he gets married and has two children - a daughter Tamara and son Val whom he teaches to do differently and follow their passions right from the start. As they grow up and start their professional careers, Jack decides to escape the mundane and go on a road trip. Both Tamara and Val ask to join as they are thinking alike and all three embark on a journey having no idea where it will lead them eventually...
