Author Grace Eunsung Cha is the author of one novel, "The Professionals" (2014), and two children's books, "From Korea to California: Our Journey to America" (2014), and "The Korean Spirit in the Air: The Korean Aviation School in Willows, California" (2018). Her children's book, "From Korea to California: Our Journey to America," was chosen as one of the best children's picture books in 2015 by the Kirkus Review. An excerpt from her novel, "The Professionals," was published in the Flash Fiction anthology, Itty Bitty Writing Space, edited by Jason Brick and Dani J. Caile (2019) under the title "Tom Kum Kai." An excerpt from her story "Rape Show" was published in Flash in a Flash Fiction Magazine (Issue 22, November 2019). She received her bachelor's degree in U. S. history from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University. She has worked as a journalist for over ten years as a newspaper reporter, online editor and freelance writer. She currently resides in Fresno, CA.
