Humanity is split into two camps - the plebs and the Islanders.

Relegated to centralised city states (PlebZones) the plebs live in their own home (a personal entertainment hub complete with E-Wall and Sim Room) and pay for entertainment using 'links' - a digital currency which is topped up weekly.

The Islanders' lives couldn't be more different. Afforded many freedoms and a life of leisure they are the elite who live off-shore on artificial islands.



Through a strange woman with wild red hair, Billy Sennheiser (a pleb) learns of the world outside the PlebZones.



Samantha Byron, an Islander, chosen by renegade genius, Kass Shook, tells Billy he has been chosen too.
