The Collective, Collaboration of the shared 'Do You Remember When's...' of three sisters growing up in Post-War England. After the air-raids were over and the men had returned home and the women who had been running the country went back into the kitchen, families struggled to return to a normal way of life. Parents did everything they could to bring normalcy and a feeling of security to their children who had experience the horrors of war. With family's everyday needs greatly rationed and work hard to find, men did what they could to eke out a living to put food on the table in a country that had nothing left to give. But the resilience of children is amazing and their ability to play in the rubble with nothing but their imagination's and still come out with not only a sense of humor but a sure, and successful life, gives hope for future generations. My sisters, Laura and Stella and I were war babies. For us there was no life before the war with which to compare our lives. This is our journey... Gillian Rothwell Rose
