Kariyushi! Kariyushi! Joy & Gratitude is a celebration of Okinawan Dance in Hawaii. All of the knowledge and inspiration in this book has been collected from members, friends and family of Tamagusuku Ryu Senju Kai Frances Nakachi Ryubu Dojo in Hawaii and Okinawa. From stories of immigration and building a future for our children, to Okinawan dance history and song translations, this book will bring a deeper understanding and appreciation for an art that began centuries ago.
