Sometimes life goes according to plan. Sometimes it doesn't. Jamie Sullivan was the star of his high school basketball team, about to go play for a major university. He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him. Angel McDermott was a troubled young man with an academic scholarship and a knack for finding problems. He was hoping that a change of scenery would help him to move on from a past that he very much wanted to forget. The Little Red Boat tracks the journey of these two best friends from a sleepy little town in northern Minnesota to the unforgiving city of Los Angeles. They found that while the weather was a lot different, many of their problems were still the same.
