We all struggle with pain, fear, and uncertainty. But some of us just can't seem to rise above it. I have been one of those people. I am survivor. In a humbling act of vulnerability, I have tried to expose my struggle, my pain, my strength, and my joy in hopes that you who feel the same will know you are not alone. Reflections: Therapeutic Poetry is an effort to be real. To expose the darkness that the light might shine more brightly. To connect on a human level that pain might be shared that we might lessen it. As you read through these pages, please know that you are seeing into the deep recesses of one man's heart that your heart might heal. You are not alone. For family members of people who are struggling, this is for you too. Maybe this book will help you understand how your loved one is feeling. And maybe in the understanding, you will be better equipped to help. Light does exist in this dark world.
