Paul is an Iraq war veteran trying to better himself. Suffering from PTSD, he turns to his friend and mentor Terrance Westergart; a collage history professor and fellow army veteran. After a particularly bad night filled with anger, guilt and suicidal thoughts; Terrance invites Paul to sit in on his class. Soon the first signs of trouble came beeping over everyone's cell phones: Active shooter. But it wasn't an active shooter. Instead, the dead have risen and are devouring and corrupting all that they touch. The two combat veterans soon find themselves responsible for the lives of a class full of college students
